Wenn wir uns begegnen is an extraordinary Christmas story about people who meet, upset, touch, break up, fall in love and anew find – each other and themselves on Christmas Day and Eve. The main place of the events is an hospital in a provincial town where hope, fears, solitude, despair, love and gratefulness is the common souls tradeoff. This December 24th destiny unites a group of people who will spend a life-altering Christmas Eve together in the hospital.

“Finnischer Tango” tells the story of a guy who sets out to make it easy for himself and learns thereby what it means to be human. Alex is a passionate but unsuccessful musician and besides that – actually not much more. He is not a nice guy, not a good friend, not a reliable partner or a responsible person. As he is looking for a job that does not require too much effort on his part he hears about a disabled theater group who looks for a handicapped actor for their stage production of “The three musketry”. Unscrupulous he steals a passport and makes up a disability for himself. With that he gets the theater part and moves in a living community together with other disabled young people. The group is looked after by the unconventional and cute Lotta. At first Alex finds quite easy an advantage for himself and can especially win everybody over with his heartbreaking tango melodies. Only one person sees through his act – the highly intelligent, suicidal and fatally ill misanthrope Rudolpf. In him Alex has an opponent at eye level. Due to the experiences in this world and the encounters with those wonderful weird open and loveable people who we just conveniently write off as disabled Alex begins to slowly change. However only as he hits rock bottom, they all start working together and are truly “One for all, all for one!”
